AYDA FIELD walked out on ROBBIE WILLIAMS after tiring of playing second fiddle to his UFO obsession.
According to a pal, the couple called off their 14-month romance because Robbie preferred spending his nights researching aliens on the Internet instead of wining and dining his lady.

It had been reported the singer was too preoccupied working on tracks for his upcoming album to spend time with Ayda, but friends say Robbie hasn't even stepped foot inside a studio.

Instead it was his nocturnal investigations into the paranormal that finally got Ayda packing two weeks ago.

A source told The Sun: "He has become more obsessed than ever recently with aliens. Some nights he would stay up till daylight and not go back to bed."

The couple's relationship has been on the rocks for several months, but the split is likely to be for good this time.

The source added: "I think the break could be permanent - they've been having ups and downs for a while.

"Robbie is such a generous guy. He gave Ayda everything but he never seemed to take her out for dinner much like most normal guys dating a sexy girl like Ayda would."

Ayda - who has starred in US TV shows Will & Grace and Days Of Our Lives - had been hailed as the one to tame womanising Robbie.
